The sandy orange she-cat followed the young apprentice happily, watching him test the waters as a chuckle slipped her mouth, "It's pretty cold." Her pelt was already cold from her earlier dip and she followed behind the other. Once he would enter the water, she would follow beside him, her slick pelt and thin body allowing her to easily slither through the water.

She gave a nod back and let koipaw do her thing. She actually wanted to comfort her more....but..it didn't look like koipaw thought the same way.
Sighing BrambleBlaze headed off to the territory to do some of her own thinking .

Pebblepaw felt a flame light in his belly. Excitement. Anxiety. Determination. He was going to prove his worth, prove that Firehawk's training hadn't been for nothing! Now.. tail. Pebblepaw crouched for a moment, belly fur brushing the sandy hollow as he tucked his tail underneath himself. Taking a long deep breath, he made a mad dash towards Firehawk, his eyes scanning for any openings. He could slide underneath him.. but that would risk sending his mentor into orbit if he messed it up. Go for a side swipe again? Yes, then come around and try to touch the back!

Racing forward, Pebblepaw was mindful to keep his tail tucked as he charged head-first towards Firehawk. As he drew near, Pebble veered off to the side and extended a paw to try and swipe at Firehawk's pelt. If he managed to get past his mentor without any interruption, the feline would turn as quick and sudden as possible to try and lunge at Fire's backside.

Ravenmist sat on the shore of the island, sketching out distinct shaped in the sand with her claw. Where is Goosepaw now?

Goosepaw emerged from the water, soaked up to his shoulders and gasping like a fish for breath. He flopped down on the sand, chest heaving as he blinked up at Ravenmist. "Sorry," he gasped out. "These tiny legs... aren't the best for swimming." He flailed his paws for a moment and then let them fall, sitting up to catch his breath.

Ravenmist sighed. "Sometimes I just don't know with you." She gestured to a spot on the sand beside her, her face calm and forgiving. "Why don't we talk for a minute?"

He laughed and got to his paws, still slightly out of breath but feeling a little better. "Talking is fine by me," he replied, though truthfully he was a little anxious to get started. The "elite" battle training hadn't exactly quenched his thirst for combat.

Ravenmist sighed, her eyes closing. The wind was stirring up her neck fluff, and her tail was lifted high off the ground. "Now," She replied softly, her eyes opening. "How do you feel?"

He scrambled to sit next to her, carefully wrapping his tail over his paws and glancing at her out of the his eye. The wind certainly felt nice on his fur, helping to dry it quickly, but within seconds he was bored. Ravenmist's question seemed odd. However, not wanting to seem rude, he went ahead and answered. "I'm fine, I guess. Just... wet. And kind of cold."

Wormpaw eventually would slip into the cold water, shuddering for a moment as his body would adjust to temperature. After he would move a bit, beginning to paddle along. He would stick rather close to Sandwhisker and the side banks, just barely brushing against the molly's side. Wormpaw couldn't exactly rely on scent or noise to properly guide himself. He would still try to take a somewhat lead as the two swam, he was supposed to be proving himself after all.
