Eaglepaw tensed as Basilpaw jumped over him. He felt her paws smack his back and stumbled slightly, quickly correcting himself. He turned and watched her, wondering what her next move would be.

Basilpaw then extended a paw in attempt to hook Eaglepaw’s foot and knock him off balance, but if it didn’t work she might topple over on him.

Chestnutstalk laid alone on the side of the clearing in one of the few shady spots. Perhaps he chose this place to be more unnoticed, or maybe because the heat in the air was too much for the fluffier tom to handle. Likely a mix of both, if he was being honest to himself. The tom was quite known to be a watcher, so much so that it'd been made part of his warrior name. And he was living up to it now, staring down a group of cats as they conversed, observing their behavior closely. What he'd do with the information he observed by watching them, no one knew. Likely he'd only keep it to himself, and find more reasons not to trust each cat standing there.

There was always a reason not to trust someone, as far as Chestnutstalk was concerned. He just had to look long enough to find it. Within the clan, he trusted all of three cats: Twilightstar, Brindlejar, and Coyotesnarl. And the only reason he really trusted them was because he had enough respect for them not to observe them so closely, so he had no chance to find reason not to. Everyone else, though? Not to be trusted. His tail thrashed for a heartbeat behind him, enthusing his thoughts as he kept a straight face, continuing to stare down his clanmates.

Redpaw, the 53 moon old russet apprentice spotted Chestnutstalk sitting alone. Redpaw had recently joined Windclan and was still yet to have a mentor. He already knew basically everything involved with being a warrior, well he didn’t how to run properly, that was something he learned in Windclan. He was glad to have buried his past and now got to live in Windclan. He dipped his head to Chestnutstalk respectfully,” Hello Chestnutstalk” he meowed

Well the silver and crimson tom was expecting the Windclan leader to be napping and was surprised to find that she was very much awake. He also wasn't expecting her to be so straight forward, well maybe when your nap is on the line it causes one to be harsher. Few heartbeats passed, thinking about her question. "Well..." Starting of slowly it felt like he was being scolded by his mother instead of the leader. "After Whisperheart disappeared on me I decided to venture Windclan territory alone since my mentor was gone. I got curious and wandered farther until I was lost and it took a couple of days to find my way back." Wow, the plain truth. Something the tom found hard to say since he didn't want to be caught in his antics. He was skating on thin ice and rather liked being an apprentice and didn't want to go back to the nursery with Coyotekit and Lynxstep. So there was no use to lie to Twilightstar.

The tom was just enjoying his moment of peace when one of the patrols came to report back. Turning to the warrior Brindlejaw nodded and gave a closed-lip smile towards the group. "Thank you Dimtail and Skypaw. Just let me know if you two want to be put on another patrol." It was nice for the clan to enjoy themselves without worrying and keeping tabs on the borders help ensure that.

Fallenghost smiled as she hopped down from the roof lightly. Back then, Windclan would sleep in the open but now it’s a split. Fallenghost preferred sleeping in the open especially hiding so if anything were to intrude, she would be prepared not having to stumble on cats. “Thank you, I thought it was smart of you to make moss balls for the kits.” she meowed.

I figure the kits enjoy throwing mossballs around and like I don’t want to waste fresh moss on those games, and it keeps them from shredding the nursery for that game. And there isn’t much use for stale moss, I might leave a little for Coyotesnarl for like soaking so a sick cat can drink.“ he meowed

Quicksilver watched with wide eyes as Cloudfluff suddenly bolted away, remaining still for another moment before shrugging his shoulders with a small smile. Cloudfluff reminded him of Pumapaw except... less of a brat. That was good enough for him though, brattyness was not something he wanted to tolerate. The silver tomcat took off after Cloudfluff, his longer legs allowing him to easily catch up with the she-cat as they neared the Thunderclan border, the trees now being able to be spotted in the distance.

Cloudfluff tried to keep pace, but fell behind him. She looked at the ThunderClan border, and the trees. She flinched, they made her feel all squished up, so she looked at Quicksilver instead of the trees. "..What have you been up to lately?" Cloudfluff mewed. She shook out her pelt, curious about the tom.
