Halfface realized they would most likely have a fight and was getting ready to, she didn't want to injure anyone somebody had already died today. "Quillkit stay next to me," Halfface whispered to her. She was not letting another kit die today! She had pretty much given up on trying to join the "clan".
( @~Fox~ if they do have to fight can Halfface grab quillkit and run out of the territory with her?)

Kestrelkit watched them squabble over who could fix it and chuckled. “You did and sure! Who wants to toss it first?” He looked at both of the kits, smiling. This was going to be fun! He had more cats to talk to!

Rushingmoor silently debated whether or not he should climb down the hole and check on them. It hadn’t been that long, but the moor above was completely deserted and he trusted that they wouldn’t be attacked. He was also totally bored just standing there waiting.

Before he could get more than a pawstep into the warren, though, Rushingmoor heard Twilightstar’s echoing voice mention him. He rolled his eyes as he made out her use of the little bug’s nickname for him and backed up to sit down beside the entrance.

“So, the little bug wasn’t gobbled up by a rabbit?”

This time, Quiverpaw was more prepared. Not really knowing exactly how to counter it, she just let her body move on its own. Settling her weight further backward on her haunches, she attempted to redirect Heathernose's swipe with one paw and counterattack with a swipe of her other paw. She was a bit unbalanced, but besides being a bit wobbly, it was executed pretty well.

Heathernose noted the unbalanced movements of Quiverpaw but chose not to mention it. Any new apprentice was bound to be unbalanced as they started training. Other than that, she managed to perform a fairly good maneuver and Heathernose praised her.

“Good job. Now try to hit me and I’ll block or dodge and then we’ll go back and forth- sort of like a real battle but much slower and more structured.”
