Loonkit's eyes were still shining with the thrill of adventure, but as Twilightstar continued on, their face slowly began to fall. A fox? Like, those big, wild dog-things? They twisted around to scan the moor behind them with a careful gaze, searching for any abnormal movement amongst the heather. The only thing they could see was the windswept moor stretching as far as the eye could see. They turned back to Twilightstar. "Why would another Clan take me? Don't they have kits, too?" Or... what if they didn't? What if ShadowClan or RiverClan or ThunderClan were all alone, with only grumpy warriors to keep company with?
Loonkit sat down again and looked at their paws as Twilightstar brought their brother into the mix. They didn't want Swankit to be sad. Sure, Loonkit teased him all the time and made a point to be a pain in the tail, but Swankit was their brother. They loved him. The excitement had faded, replaced by a grim understanding that something really could have happened to them out there. "I- I don't want Swankit to be sad," they blurted, "because that would make me sad. Is he sad right now? Can I go back? I want to check him!"
Oddly enough it seemed like her words were actually reaching the kit. She wasn't sure they would considering Loonkit's personality. Twilightstar observed his demenour as it took a change from that oblivious kitten happiness to understanding.
"ThunderClan and RiverClan would probably give you back, ShadowClan might keep you. At this rate, I can't see stealing kits beneath them." No matter how she thought about it, Twilightstar couldn't seen Dawnstar returning her kits to her for any reason. A small smile formed on her maw at the kits eagerness to return to camp to check on their brother. "I'm sure he's worried about you, as I'm sure you'd be worried if he suddenly left you without a word. We can go back, I hope that you understand that you can not be going out of camp on your own. If it happens again, I might not be the one who finds you first." She state gravely while standing, making sure the kit was following as she led the way back to the camp. No punishment this time, it seemed they understood that this couldn't happen again.
[All done, he can be RPed in the clan again.]

"You'll start in my clan as an apprentice, you'll have someone teach you how about the clans and our ways as your mentor." Twilightstar told him. "You're new name will be Leafpaw." Regardless of age, the leader rarely let any cat into the clan with the rank of a warrior. It made no sense to do so with any outsider unless they had special circumstances. "Come on, I'll show you where you'll be residing."
[You can go ahead and start rping him in the clan once he's submitted.]

So, it was likely very much a surprise to the leader of WindClan when, during a moment of solitude in her den (whenever the she-cat laid to rest), out of a soft and sandy patch of the ground, a tiny paw emerged. And after some scrabbling, a little gasping mouth which coughed out the sand this kit was apparently being born from. Several moments seem to drip by so slowly before this little scrap of a kitten is at last straightening out.
Fernkit takes another moment to regard Twilightstar. "Hi!" He mewls. The kit couldn't have been more than a week old, and yet he had an awareness that surpassed many beyond his... Sure age. "Can I go to the nursery! I'm hungry!"
@Moonraven
Had Parasite snuck some weird bug into her rabbit?! It wasn't something she'd put past him, if Mushy was watching him she could see the tom allowing it so long as it didn't kill her. Twilightstar woke with a startled hiss as she watched what soon turned into a young kit, literally pop itself out of the ground. Twilightstar seen many strange things in her short life, but this had to be one of the strangest things. The leader was speechless for a long while as the kit began mewling like nothing was out of the ordinary.
"Nursery?" She repeats, still in a daze. She slowly stood up and padded over with cation, stretching out her neck to give the kit's head a sniff. He smelt like WindClan, but he just came out of the floor of her den so that meant little to nothing. Was this some kind of StarClan thing? "Who are you?" Twilightstar composed herself after a short time, padding all the way over to the kit, crouching down so she was eye level with the pipsqueak, and gave his head a few swift licks to clean him up. You know what? She was going to stop questioning it, blame it on StarClan, and go with it. The leader had a billion questions, but one thing at a time.

The she-cat stepped out of her den, eyes spotted the messy clump of fur stumbling over to the Breezerock. Padding fully out of her den, Twilightstar pads over to the rock and looks down at the kit in front of it. This one's been gone while over a moon. "Beekit," the leader sighed, taking a seat and wordlessly begun pulling out the mess of nettles and burrs in their pelt. "Where did you get to?" Asked the feline, pausing briefly in her vigorous groom to speak before return the task. She tried taking the burrs out as gently as possible without pulling too harshly on their fur.
Deadpool chuckled softly at the tom's kind words, he had a point she wasn't lonely at this very second, but the type of loneliness she had was hard to chase away with a brief chat with a clanmate. Deadpool had no one but herself to blame for this. "Get it, do I." She purred understandingly. "Proud mentor, sounds you." The she-cat watched the rest of the meeting with a touch of disinterest, not even the announcement of the deputy perked her up. She was happy that her clan was happy, it was nice. With the meeting over, the she-cat got to her paws and stretched out, going through the day to day mundane routine. "Away go must me. running will I do, talking thank you." The chimera smiled sweetly at Owltalon. It's been forever since she's been outside, it felt like every time she attempted to leave the camp some horrible would happen, if she didn't find someone dead, they were in the midst of dying or something like that. She was sure the tom had better things to do than pester with her, Deadpool did not want to keep him.
@Paradise [I didn't see the mentor you requested for Ember so gave her a different one.]
As the cats gathered at her paws, Twilightstar settled her attention on Gullpaw first. "Echowind said you're ready for an assessment, I'll do a quick one with you now. Parasite, I'd like to get rid of you as quickly as possible, so you can take your assessment with Gullpaw." She told the pair of apprentices and then turned to Weaselskip. "Since you're the only Guardian that's currently not bearing kits or disappearing, I'm going to leave you to recruit a few more cats. Are you fine with that?" Breezefeather she'd talk to in a moment.
@Arie @Zesty Mango
Beekit grumbled a bit under their breath, poufy fur tugged by the burrs and nettles being pulled out. They sigh and hang their head, stumpy tail lashing angrily. "I was bored. So I went out," they said, curtly. Beekit knew what their leader was about to say- "You mustn't go out of camp, Beekit, it's dangerous!" but gosh darnit, nothing ever happens here! "I just wanted to see what was out there, but then I..." they sigh again, flattening their ears in embarrassment. "...I tripped and fell down a hill, and then before i knew it, it was nighttime and I was lost." They slump down, thouroughly embarrassed. Their siblings will have a field day with this one for sure. @Moonraven

Again with the boredom, did kits not have any creativity? Twilightstar had been a very dull kitten, sat around and slept most of the day, it was boring, those were the good days. The molly listened as she finished pulling out the last of the burrs, and then got to work on the nettles. "So, did you learn your lesson?" Twilightstar wasn't even going to lecture the kit considering they seemed more angry and embarrassed than ignorant.

Beekit grumbles once more, standing up and shaking their fur out. It felt good to have all those hard-to-reach stickers out of their pelt, but they were sure they had some stings and scrapes somewhere with how their body was sore. "Yeah," they say begrudgingly, angling their narrowed eyes at the ground. They should find Crowkit, make up some funny story about where they've been. "Is Crowkit or my other siblings here," they ask, still not looking their leader in the eye.

As Twilightstar led the new apprentice Leafpaw into Windclan, the 19 moon old tom felt weird and small. His neck wound hurt and he didn't make it far before colapsing with exaustion, hunger, and pain. ( @Moonraven, should I submit a med-cat form for him to get checked on?)

Fernkit sticks his head up high to try and view all of Twilightstar, his eyes wide and full of wonder. This was a new experience for him! He'd only ever seen her from far away and above. Watching the world was a pass-time that he supposed he'd need to get un-used to, at least for now (and hopefully a while!). "I'm Fernkit," the little tom announces. His voice was as tiny as he was himself, but there was a strange and very keen air of awareness surrounding the kit. "Where's Eldersky? I wanna see her too!" He spoke in short bursts, not really physically capable of filling his lungs up with the breath he needed to say everything. "She's my sister," Fernkit mews, looking proud, which he was. Proud, excited, and a little surprised at himself for making it so far!

[thank you <3 sorry i keep waiting on your acceptance, but having the explicit permission is comforting lol]
It was growing colder out, as the sea chilled and the land along with it. The evergreens that banded around ShadowClan remained lush, but the rest of the world seemed to enshroud itself in gray and brown. Color tones that warned of the oncoming leaf-bare. Leaf-fall was a fleeting season, but an important one for the Clans. It was their last opportunity to scrounge up as much prey as possible before everything went into hiding. Leaf-bare was a sleepy and dark season.
But Nettlespark had been thriving off of the prey the outskirts gave him. For moons, the young tom kept his hunting skills sharp and his senses practiced, all so that when he finally (yes, finally) made his mind up about what to do with himself, he could do so confidently. And so here he was, stalking through the tall grasses of WindClan's territory. Truthfully, he was a little lost. Despite having been to their camp briefly with a couple of his Clanmates, he couldn't call himself familiar with the route to get there. And he had begun to wonder if the clumps of grass and bushes around were the same ones he'd seen before. He was going in circles, and officially realized it when he finally caught his own scent. With a disgruntled yet incoherent grumble, the young brindled tabby decides to sit down for a rest and another hard Think.

The sights and sounds of the camp nearly made the tabby giddy. Oh! They had missed this so much. The soft scent of heather, the smooth, dirt ground of the camp as opposed to the more gritty, sandy soil in RiverClan, and the cats! Stagpaw, Coldamber, Windpaw, Coldamber, Robinpaw, COLDAMBER! Oh, how relieved they were. Carrying the pale shell they had taken in their mouth, they entered the medicine den. Home sweet... who?
Kits,,? And... "Shockholly? What, um, whatcha doin? In here?"
if puddlesplash didn’t notice. Well his stutter was slowly going away as he got more comfortable around this cat.
Puddlesplash smiled in return. Pigeon made sense, considering that was what Whispersong was eating right now. Now what else could they talk about? Perhaps they could continue on the pattern of little fun facts to get to know each other a bit. “What about... your favorite color?”
