Falconglare could feel the tension building in her chest, entangling her like bracken vines. Her mind was quiet. It would take some getting used to. The smoky warrior knew normalcy was a pipe dream, but in this moment...she felt close.
Breathing deeply, and steeling herself, she cast a long shadow from the mouth of the leader's den, her striking lemon yellow eyes nearly lambent.
"Buckstar?" she called, "I apologize for the intrusion--may I speak with you? Briefly? I can return later if you would prefer..."

Hawkpaw was passing the nursery when he heard some kits. "Hey kits!" He mewed. "Wanna do some training with me?" He asked and winked at Brambleberry. He could tell she needed a break.
