"That is the whole point. You havnt done anything to me. If you had, I would have blown you to pieces on the spot. Spending your life in servitude to me is not only a mercy, it is an honor. You should be appalled that you are even allowed in my presence." He looked a bit curiously at her as she looked to the sky, and then something seemed to click. "Ah, I know where we are. Why else wouldnt my teleportation work? It was so obvious. So, do you agree to that little suggestion I have or not?" He huffed, closing his spellbook and crossing his arms.

Emerald's eyes, her namesake, were closed. Her hands were clenched and trembling. Suddenly her right fist burst into green flames up until the elbow. Right under her shoes, the grass started rotting rapidly. The air got stuffier and harder to breathe as she absorbed every soul around her. Her eyes opened, their sclera turned pitch black.
"Not. A. Chace." she said, her voice a lot deeper with an echo of all the souls. She was still Emerald but her past self was beginning to leak back in. The effect was utterly ruined by the author, a bored, sleep-deprived person reaching her hand down and grabbing the tiny OCs, planting them into the right positions: Emerald in the nightmare dimension and Dizerel in the controls. Fighting your own characters was exhausting sometimes, looking questioningly at the other author as to what they had in mind.

(It's funny because Dizerel and Brenna (Emerald's old self before she lost her memory) are so similar. Breanna would definitely enjoy watching people suffer in a horror maze. Also a fun idea, around the middle of the maze, you might just yoink Dizerel's powers away and yeet him in to see how he'd react if he didn't have them.)

"Ah, there we are. I didnt even have to do anything this time. Though, of course, I didnt need the help. I am to contest the gods one day, so if I cant do this on my own, what chance do I have against the divine?" He chuckled to himself. She could hear him, of course, "You are going to be playing a little game of mine. Win, and I will let you live on your normal life instead of being a slave to me. However, each time you lose, your sanity will drop, it will get harder and harder to focus, and before long you will beg for the release of death. This game isnt designed to be fair. Lets see how long you last, hm?"

You are dropped in an incredibly dark room. You can only see about 5 feet around you. Moving in most directions you find a stone brick wall. Your feet are on hard concrete, uncomfortable to walk on, even in shoes. The room is square, although what you presume to be the north side of it (as that is the way you were facing when you were warped in here) has an entrance to a hallway that runs to the left or right.

Which way do you go?

Emerald looked around. The fear of darkness was already getting to her. But what overran the fear was anger. Brenna had already begun to show, as she always did in moments like these.
"I swear when I get out of here I'm gonna kill you and the authors!" she hissed irritably, her tone of voice and accent sounding vastly different from what they had been in the beginning. She still had a lot of energy with her, drained from her environment. I am so going to consume that guy's soul, if he even has one.Emerald or Brenna or whoever she was at this point lit a bit of green flame in her palm. She wasted no time and looked over every inch of the area. A choice, huh. She decided to go right. After all, she was a capable person, whatever this iguana had prepared for her, she could set it on fire or steal it's energy.

(Oh no, Brenna is back. Now it's two god complexes against each other.)

As the green flame lit up, the color of her surroundings now had a green tint to it, as you would expect to come from the green flame, but her vision didnt improve at all. She was still restricted to only being able to see the same short distance as before.

Taking the right hallway, you pace for about 50 feet before you come to another hallway. Right before you can look either way down it you hear an echoing moan come through. You arent sure if it came from the left or the right.

You can either peek down one of the hallways, go down one of the hallways, or turn around.

Emerald decided to continue and go down one of them. She was getting progressively more paranoid and a lot angrier. A third eye, right under her left one was starting to open and look around.

For a split second, as you turn the corner and start heading down the hallway, you think you see a single light, floating about 7 feet off the ground or so, and then it turns and goes down a different hall some 200 feet down or so.

You can press forward, or turn down one of the hallways you came from.

Emerald pressed forward, ignoring the light. She was too angry to think properly. She wanted to just walk in a straight line and brutally murder the first thing that pops up.

"Dont be so hasty, little one. Your powers will have no effect on the enemies you find here. Your nightmares will come true not only for you, but the one that commands you, if you are to get caught."

You come to an intersection. You can go forward, left, or right. You are pretty sure that the light you saw earlier had taken a pathway further down (forward),

Emerald decided to go right again. The thing that bugged her most about this maze so far was this guy's ego. She was beginning to calm down and be more curious.

As you turn down the hallway, you can see a few hundred feet down is a light. Two lights, actually. Before long you realize that its a pair of eyes staring at you, and getting closer every second.
