As the small squeak escaped Spiritkit, Eveningmist could swear he felt his heart melt into a big puddle of goop. He couldnt help it! The kit was just so cute! Still, he had to focus on the situation at hand. He had never really questioned the rule forbidding kits from leaving camp, as he never had reason to, so he didnt really have that great of an answer to the small toms questions. Well, he assumed that he still had a decent explanation, one that he agreed with wholeheartedly "I assure you, your eyesight has little effect on the way the rule applies to you. In fact, there have been fully blind cats and cats with exceptional eyesight who have still had to stay in camp as kits" he assured, gazing down at hm with warm eyes.

At the next question...he almost caved. But he wouldnt be able to live with himself were Spiritkit harmed while under his care. Besides, rules were there for a reason, and he liked to stick by them as much as possible. "Im afraid we cant do that. How about this; When you become an apprentice, I will be the very first cat to take you out to see the territory, okay?" he apologetically mewed, slowly shaking his head.

The topic of eyesight was quickly forgot as his poor little albino heart was crushed. Big, fat tears swelled in his pink-blue eyes, falling like large rain drops onto the frosty clearing floor. "B-but but..." but what? He wasn't sure what his argument was, exactly-- considering he'd only discovered less than a mintue ago that this was the exit and entrance to camp.

A big soppy sob croaked from his throat as he wiped his large salty tears on his white paw. "Yo-you-you promise?" Spiritkit liked to think he was a well mannered cat but sometimes, even a kit was allowed to act kitten-ish. "You gotta promise!" Spiritkit insisted, pressing up into that fluffy leg again.

"Play!" The little white hackles upon his back stood on end. He wasn't just some kitten! He was too good for play. Actually... Spiritkit paused, glancing at the grey blob with his milky eyes. "Maybe... I do want to play. What if we played--" Spiritkit frowned as the cogs of his brain turned. "Leap frog?" He wasn't exactly sure what a frog was, he only knew they hopped. And he liked to hop!

Thistlethorn sighed. He was bored: he had recently finished training with Mistypaw, the patrols were sent out, and now, he had nothing to do. While it didn't bother him to have some peace and quiet for once-he actually enjoyed it- it brought about the feeling of anxiety and boredom. So, looking around, he tried to find something interesting before burying his head in his paws.

Hazecloud sighed. Phew, that was close. Part of her wanted to go up and talk to him, but the other part of her thought that was absolutely ridiculous. If we were barely even able to start a conversation, why would it go well this time? She grabbed a piece of moss of the ground and began to play with it in her paws. Ugh. Why was there never anything to do around here!!

... Okay, Thistlethorn had enough of laying the sun and doing nothing: his paws were itching to do something, anything, to get rid of the boredom. It was then that his stomach growled, embarrassingly loud. Perhaps he could go hunting? Getting up, his bright blue eyes scanned the area, and he soon spotted Hazelcloud. He would have gone to ask her to join, but remembered their last talk and decided against it: he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable. So, instead, he opted to go alone, even if the coyotes were still around.

Hmm? 'Leap Frog' sounded kinda cool to be honest... Iciclepaw had never played that as a kit [as far as she remembered]. Then again, she hadn't played much as a kit-

Hazecloud sighed. Are you serious right now! First that cat tells her of for going out hunting alone, and now he's doing it. She quickly sat up and dashed for the entrance, not even daring to make eye contact with the tom. I just wanted to be by myself for once! Is that to much to ask!

Thistlethorn was a bit stunned to see Hazelcloud race by, and he frowned. Was she going out for fresh air, too? Ah, well. Now that his stomach was quiet, perhaps he could go to his favorite place: a large oak tree completely shaded and dark. He loved that place, but, while he wanted to go there, the worry for his Clanmate was greater.

"Uh..."

Did she really not like talking to people? She had managed to talk to Buckstar before, so why was this any different? "Uh.. hi", she said, slightly embarrassed. "Was there... something you wanted to talk about?"

"Well... you we're going hunting.. so I thought I might go as well." She paused. "Just... not with you." She still wasn't too sure about this tom, and plus, she finally had a chance to go hunting by herself for once. She knew there we're coyotes out there, but Thunderclan had already dealt with so many already. Surely there wasn't anymore?
