Getting bit by the wretched creature on the shoulder she yowled only to have some fur ripped off ! She gasped at her now partially naked shoulder. That...THAT MONSTER! HER PRECIOUS FUR! I'm hideous now! and is that a bit of blood? seeing a teensy bit of blood oose from the teeth marks she hissed at the bird. Boiling with rage she gave an angry yowl and up and under the birds chin only to bite it firm and hard. Risking any pecks to the head that were to come her way. For extra measure she dug her claws into the monsters fat chest and tried to give it harm.

Mosspaw thought about his training that he learned from Coastbreeze. What did he tell me to do, what was it... Suddenly remembering, Mosspaw went limp, trying to weigh the bird down with his weight. He lashed his tail, sinking his teeth in more, but he couldn't find the throat because of the excess skin on its neck. He pushed down harder, finally bringing it down to the ground. Mosspaw removed his teeth from its neck and changed his angle, biting down hard until he felt a burst of blood come into his mouth. He lifted his head, spitting the metallic liquid out of his mouth and onto the ground. Mosspaw looked at the bird lying limp on the ground and sighed, relieved that it was over. Turning to Feathermask, he noticed her wound and rushed over to her. "Are you ok," he asked frantically, licking some of the blood from her wound.

Growling and hissing with rage , she somewhat blacked out from . She didn't even notice that the bird was dead from mosspaws doing. Even when it was limp she was still hissing as she had a hold on its throat. Ears perking up at Mosspaws question she looked at the bird again only to let go. "I'm ok kid - just ..HOW DARE IT STEAL MY FUR!" she frowned. Though she placed her paw on his head and ruffled up his fur "good job I'm sure your mentor would be proud ! " she praised . "I know I'm impressed" then the thought came to mind. What were they gonna do with this ?..drag it back?

Gingerfrost had noticed Eelpaw arrive, giving no more than a simple nod - both in greeting and mostly in confirmation of Lotusheart's words. "We might might want to get started though, or these turkeys will be much to agitated" his voice was a mutter, per usual, after he had remained silent for a few moments. He glanced back at both Eelpaw and Lotusheart, waiting if either of them had another idea on how to go about it or.. Just anything really.

Berryscorch hadn't heard Duckbounce's name called among the final pairings, so she figured the other molly could simply tag along with her new group. Signaling for Duckbounce to follow, she headed over to where Primrosepaw and Palepaw were standing. "Hey, you two. Have you got any ideas for how you want to go about this yet?" She already had a strategy in mind, but if one of them wanted to try their paw at coming up with some ideas, she might go along with it. Lionstorm had mentioned that these two weren't very experienced, so she'd definitely be keeping an extremely close eye on them the entire time. Perhaps it was even more beneficial now that Duckbounce might be tagging along.

Baypaw frowned a bit when a warrior was assigned to join their little duo with Stonepaw but supposed it was all in the name of safety. It wasn't too big of a deal though. Maybe this warrior could guarantee they'd catch one of those birds. Done with thinking, they had no intention of waiting any longer. "Come on, come on! Let's go get ourselves some turkeys!" A bright smile budding on their face, they hopped off a little deeper into the territory, towards the turkeys, waiting for Stonepaw and Firebreeze to follow.

"I do! I think some of us should go from behind and grab the legs. I already told Primrosepaw about it."

"Im beginning to worry this whole thing wasnt well planned out.." The apprentice mumbled sliding off of the birds back. The jolt of the turkey suddenly stopping and collapsing was rough on her shoulder and while it was fine Willowpaw wasn't as sure about the whole venture anymore.

"Still is.... Is that it? What do we do now are we supposed to hunt another turkey? Do we help the others? Honestly now I'm just kinda confuse- Oh pretty feathers!" Willowpaw asked poking at the bird before noticing how gorgeous the feathers were, she needed those for her collection and nest like now! Its not like the turkey was using them anymore anyway. So she bent over and started tugging the prettiest feathers loose humming happily at the additions to her collection. Honestly she was happy at what they'd done thus far and so was more then happy to leave the decision of what to do next up to the warrior.

"Ok. Now, follow me!" Said Tigerlily leading the way towards a turkey that seemed to be dazed. It was hobbling off to the side, away from its flock. She silently walked towards the bird until she was so close it was time to stalk. Crouching, she lightly placed her paws, stalking the bird. Raising her tail she signaled for the 2 apprentices to go on either side of the bird, and surround it.

Rainwillow was on her own. She sighed, and began to stalk a bird.

Stripepaw tilted her head at first, confused. She then realized she was signaling to surround it and went to the left. She thought this was a clever way to attack. She was so excited!

He didn’t quite realize was was going on with the turkeys and everything. He was just happy to be with Dayheart! His good pal, maybe even best friend, probably best friend to be honest. He didn’t exactly socialize with many cats. Oh? Oh! They were going! "C’mon! Let’s go get them! They won’t know what’s comin’!" He grinned, jogging a few paces before looking back to make sure Day was with him.

"Lets go, lets go then!" and with that she took off. Eelpaw didn't know what her role was but like... did you not hunt big prey by jumping on their back then like... picking at them until they died? Hopefully. Eelpaw wanted to be useful, to be smart, to be everything her mother hadn't been and well... hunting and showing she was a good hunter was one of those ways she could prove herself. "I've got the back!" and with that she launched herself into a crouch and instead of running head first like many of her dumbo clanmates, she began to stalk it. Maybe Lotusheart and Gingerfrost would see what she was doing and follow her? Or they could distract it? It would be big enough to hold her weight for sure! So, with as quiet precision the black tabby apprentice could master, she launched herself at the turkey's back, gripping with her claws and then tried her best to pluck out feathers... cause everyone wanted feathers for their nest right?
