Oriolepaw bounced out of the apprentices’ den and over to the prey pile. He’d spent the past quarter moon practicing his hunting crouch and pounce over and over, and studying the different scents of his Clanmates. He never wanted a repeat of the tracking mistake he’d made on his first day of training.
He hadn’t seen his littermates in some time. He wondered how they were; did they like their mentors as much as he liked Larkstorm? He sure hoped so. Both of his littermates deserved great mentors!
Oriolepaw picked a mouse for himself and began eating.

Ashblaze - @
Ashblaze followed Sparrowstar into the Thunderclan clearing, Waving a tail goodbye to his leader. He looked around for a familiar face. The orange tabby spotted another orange tabby slightly lighter than himself. He sprinted over to the she-cat he longed to see. "Bumblebee! It's me, Ashblaze!" The tom said, practically running to his sister.
Bumblebee - @
The orange cream tabby was sitting outside the warrior's den. Enjoying the wonderful day, she sniffed at the air. Bumblebee looked up with excitement in her amber eyes. She could not believe her eyes or her nose. Was that Ashblaze sprinting over to her? The orange tabby blinked a few times before realizing that it was indeed Ashblaze. Bumblebee got up and greeted her brother. "Wha? How? When?" The she-cat couldn't formulate a full sentence. She was shocked but also extremely happy to see her brother.

The one-time Willowpaw thought Frostheart was an elder.
"Leafheart and I- we had gone to gather flowers to decorate the elders den with, and we had gotten lost! We were lost for so long.. But- we were right at the shadowclan border- when suddenly, a shadowclan cat appeared out of nowhere! She tackled Leafheart, Leafheart told me to run and I did-- but-" She stammered, catching her breath. "When I had returned, the shadowclan warrior was gone, and Leafheart was cold dead!" She wailed. "I found my way back to camp- I'm so so sorry-.."
Coolpaw stretched. He knew it was time for battle training. His mentor, Lightshine, had said the night before that battle training would be the next day. He exited then den.
Cloudspots ran out into the clearing, suddenly breathless. He’d never discovered a dead cat before; up until now, he’d been lucky that way. What in the name of StarClan had happened to Wildspark? Had he been sick? Eaten bad prey? Injured and didn’t tell anyone? No- there wasn’t any blood. It had to be an illness.
“Wildspark is dead!” he called out, praying that he’d get some cat’s attention.
Stars above, well that certainly wasn't a great first impression for Ashblaze to join with. Thankfully, it seemed like the previously Windclan affiliated tom was too pre-occupied with reuniting with his littermate to register Cloudspots' frantic call.
Quickly trotting apart from the two siblings, Sparrowstar made her way over to the shaken warrior and kept her voice low as she began her questions. He had just burst out of the warrior's den, so unless Wildspark had shown up in a dream from Starclan, the tan molly was fairly certain that's where she'd find the body.
"What happened? Where is he?" she stated, gaze steady as she approached the breathless tom. He looked just about ready to bolt so she made sure to keep her movements slow. Wildspark had been blessed to come back from Starclan, but perhaps they had deemed his tasks completed.

He looked at the leader, holding their gaze for a cold, hard moment. "When I joined shadowclan I didn't recognize it for what it really was." Swiftpounce bowed his head, looking up. "My best friend, Vinestripe and I planned on joining, and leaving shadowclan, until.. Dawnstar told me to leave, so I left anyway, unbenknowst to me, Vinestripe had been killed.. And.. I know thunderclan is better. Please, give me a chance.." Swiftpounce said, his green gaze meeting the leaders.
This was certainly an odd kittypet. Was this another cat like Crocuspaw who was fleeing abusive two-legs and looking for a fresh start?
"What is your name Kittypet? And how many moons of age are you?" she questioned, before awaiting her response.
If they were young enough, perhaps they could be molded to become less of a scatterbrain and more of a warrior...
"Deadflame has returned yes," Sparrowstar stated, eyes narrowing as she looked over the molly before her. Perhaps she had hit her head, perhaps she was avoiding details, but whatever the case this cat seemed scattered...
"I will allow you back this once Sagebush, but if this happens again I will not be so lenient. Come, let us get Sundust or Rosepaw to look you over."
[ Done! Sagebush has been accepted and will be moved off the missing list! Make sure to submit a healing application and post a starter in the leader's den if you wish to request a name change. ]
A yowl of panic brought Sparrowstar surging out of her den as fast as her paws could carry her, only skidding to a stop when she reached the collapsed elder on the ground of the clearing.
"Clearwhisper? Stars above, what happened?" she stated, trying to quell the surge of adrenaline that had begun coursing through her body at the sound of their desperate screech. Both Leafheart and this elder had been missing for just about half a moon, so she needed the facts before she could do anything here besides refer the clearly strained elder to Sundust to have a look at that paw.
Lowering her hackles slightly as the outsider spoke, Sparrowstar watched each of his movements with a calculating stare before responding.
"And what do you have to offer Thunderclan 'Orca'," she stated, voice cold as she rolled the odd name out of her mouth like a questionable bite of prey. "I can't let just anyone waltz right into my clan without reason."
A rumbling hum echoed through Sparrowstar's chest as she evaluated the tom's story. He seemed genuine enough, and it wasn't too far-fetched an idea to have each parent want to keep a kit to raise...
"I will trust that your tale is true," she finally stated, green eyes flicking up to meet his own. "However, I expect you to full commit to life as a Thunderclan warrior. I will not tolerate any other wishy-washy debates about where you belong. If you make this step, I expect you to follow through with utter loyalty and commitment to provide for this clan up to and including the cost of your life."
Since Twilightstar had apparently already approved Ashblaze's choice, at least she didn't risk causing offence to the moorland clan. This cat would just have to be trained up to get used to the trees and fighting style of the territory.
"Now come, let me show you the way to your new home."
[ Done! Ashblaze has been accepted and will be moved to the Thunderclan Allegiances. He will be assigned a temporary mentor during the next meeting. ]
A rumbling sigh huffed through Sparrowstar's nose as she continued her steady trot back towards camp.
"Well I certainly hope you learned your lesson Woodkit," she stated sternly through his scruff. "Kits are not allowed outside of camp especially because we don't want any hurt noses or worse. If you try and sneak out again, you're apt to get your apprentice ceremony delayed. Now lets get you back to your queen, I'm sure they're terribly worried."
[ Done! Woodkit has been accepted and will be moved off the missing list! I will post an additional admonishment in the nursery shortly ]
"It's Sparrowstar now actually."
Emerging from the brush close to Herondive Hollow, Sparrowstar gave the Shadowclan cat a cold, evaluating look.
"And why, stars tell, should I welcome you into Thunderclan?"
If this cat was evading Dawnstar's ire, it wouldn't do Thunderclan any good to harbor her outcasts. Besides, a good pawful of her clanmates may not look too kindly on a cat from the clan that had overrun them several moons prior.
Ray didn’t mind being Called a kittypet, “6 moons” she replied to the warrior, dipping her head respectfully

Cloudspots was more than relieved that Sparrowstar had made a swift approach at his outcry. It didn’t seem to him that any of the other cats in the clearing were particularly bothered; perhaps they were used to this sort of thing by now? Or maybe Wildspark was more unpopular than Cloudspots knew?
Either way, this wasn’t the time to wonder that. Cloudspots gestured toward the warriors’ den with his tail. “In the warriors’ den,” he rasped. “I found him lying motionless, and it didn’t look like he was breathing. No blood, so I think maybe an illness!” StarClan, he prayed it wasn’t anything contagious.

Sundust nodded with satisfaction as he watched Rosepaw apply the cobwebs. It was a simple job, but he felt bad that she didn’t get to do more. “Alright, you should be good to go. The injuries weren’t terrible, but please come see me or Rosepaw if you feel like something’s wrong.” He glanced at the wound on Softshadow’s torso, which seemed to be the worst of them. “Try and do some lighter work for a bit, maybe a few days. After that you should be able to return to your duties as normal.”
Ah, so the medicine cat was in the herb storage. Oops... Mapleleaf cast an apologetic glance toward Sundust, she didn't realize he was just in the other part of the den. But back to the matter at paw... her belly felt tight and it felt like she would be sick any moment, but she never did get sick. Her belly was definitely bigger than what it usually was, that was an obvious symptom, but she probably still had to tell the tom about it.
"My stomach is nearly twice the size it used to be, and it always feels tight like I'm going to be sick, but I haven't gotten sick," she explained, lifting a paw so Sundust could see her stomach properly. "Thunderblaze... he's my mate, he doesn't know what's going on and neither do I. I was hoping... maybe y-you could explain it?"
Mapleleaf was sure the golden tom could, after all, he was ThunderClan's medicine cat. He had to know what was going on, right? Surely he did. Thunderblaze was probably worried about her, so she'd have to go straight to him once she was able. Oh, StarClan tell me this is normal for Greenleaf!
Sundust nodded as the molly explained her symptoms.. a list which was becoming familiar in recent days. “I see. Is there, perhaps, any chance you may be pregnant?” He was a bit curious to see how she would react, as everyone responded differently to that question; some were overjoyed, while other chewed him out for even suggesting it as a possibility.

Sundust nodded at Rainflower’s response. “It seems we will have an abundance of kits in the coming moons; I’ve had a lot of mollies come in recently with the same suspicions.” He did have to conceal some concern; Leafbare would be upon them soon, would they be able to find enough resources to support many kits? And if any queens had complications… he would have to stock up on herbs and soon. In the mean time, he needed to focus on his patient. “Have you experienced any nausea, or perhaps discomfort recently? Or really any other symptoms related to pregnancy.” He trusted Rainflower’s suspicion, but he had to go through the standard list of questions.
Cloudspots limped into the medicine den. His paw was still bleeding, albeit not concerningly so. He just hoped Sundust could fix him without too much difficulty.
Ah, another torn claw. Was a cat really a warrior if they hadn’t torn a claw or dislocated a shoulder? “Rosepaw, have you ever treated a torn claw before?” He was trying to let his apprentice get more hands on experience, as she hadn’t gotten much opportunity to do so since Dawnstar had taken over ThunderClan.
[ just realized I forgot to mention you @Shade. there’s a second healing the rosepaw can handle at the bottom if you’d like too ]

An old rat bite didn't exactly seem at the top of my 'problems to deal with' list. Sorry, I'll keep that in mind for next time."
She could leave. She COULD. She didn't have to sit through whatever was coming next. But that RiverClan cat had beaten her into the dirt despite how loathe she was to admit it and she needed to be at full working capacity for the next time they met.
His ear twitched as Bumblebreak shot back exactly what Sundust had given. That was fair, he was being rather rude. He sighed; it seemed an apology was in order. “I’m sorry, that comment was unnecessary. Ah, my comment, that is. Yours was warranted.” A slight trace of ironic humor sparked in his eyes at his last sentence.
Sundust began to treat the injury, silent for a second. “I know we don’t really ‘know’ each other, but I know the past few moons have been rough on you. You need to take care of yourself, or at least let someone else take care of you. Your a good warrior and a good cat, and StarClan forbid we lose another youth. Especially to a smelly rat; I’m sure none of your friends would want that.” StarClan, he would be livid if someone died of a rat bite at his paws.

@Naiad
Sundust had just finished sweeping away some dried herb bits when he caught sight of his next patient. “Ah, hello Hopefeather. Is there something you’d like to discuss?” The question was somewhat rhetorical - cats seldom came to the medicine den if they had no reason to. Something was very likely bothering her, so really he supposed he just needed to know what she needed to discuss.
With the kit in his jaws, the dark-furred Keeper stepped into the den, his golden gaze emmidiettly searching for Sundust. That a kit could get themselves into this much trouble without help was honestly outstanding, and a part of Batblood would have happily used a part of this to teach the kit a lesson, but the duty to Thunderclan took precedence over that, so he dropped down the hairball on the floor. "This is where you come when you're hurt."
"Sundust. We've got ourselves a..." he shot the kit a glance and moved a paw to give it a poke "...situtation." That was the best way to phrase that.
It was always scary when kits came into the medicine den, at least when they were bleeding. They were tough little furballs for the most part, but they were still fragile. Upon examination, none of the injuries seemed terribly severe. The ones on Vixenkit’s face may need some marigold, but some wet moss and cobwebs would do for the ones on top of her head.
“Hey kiddo, looks like you got yourself in a tangle,” Sundust began talking as he collected the herbs he would need. From Batblood’s expression it seemed they had a runaway on their paws. Well, hopefully this escapade would keep her from sneaking out of camp again for a bit.
“That ‘red stuff’ is blood - sometimes it shows up when you get hurt. He returned with the marigold and a bundle of cobwebs, which he set aside as he began dabbing the wounds clean with wet moss. He had suppress a snicker at Batblood’s newly acquired nickname.
Thrushfur slipped in the medicine den, herb scent overwhelmed his noise as he shuffled away towards the entrance. He flattened his ears in embarrassment for giving such a reaction, the scent was just a bit too strong for him. He walked in a settled down in a corner. He's never really been all that much in the medicine den, he sometimes would have nightmares as a kit about cats who would force herbs down your throat. He gulped remembering that distinct nightmare. He could remember just like it was yesterday. He breathed once more, stiffing as he tried to overcome the scent of herbs that ensnared his nostrils. With a respectful gaze around the den, he looked around for the ginger tabby. Even just a glimpse to get out of this prison as quickly as he possibly could.
" Sundust- Nevermind.. "He murmured softly. The medicine cat would probably notice him already when he entered. The reason he came was for his wounds, and his stomach that has been bothering him. He was questioning his own unawareness. Was it something I ate? His brows furrowed. Giving a small heave as he waited inside the den. Onlooking at the patients in the den with him.
Sundust appeared as soon as he heard Thrushfur retch, a chorus of please don’t vomit please don’t vomit running through his head. He did not want to be spending his afternoon trying to clean up vomit. The scent of infection quickly distracted the medicine cat from those worries, and he hurried to go grab some marigold. “Hello, Thrushfur. I assume we’re dealing with some nausea as well?” Nausea could be related to the infection, but it was important to look into, just in case it was something else.

Oh, it had been a bit since Sundust had seen a thorn in someone’s paw. Hello, Smallvine, he greeted with a flick of his tail. Rosepaw, would you like to handle this one? It’s just a thorn. They we’re easy to treat, and typically didn’t require any herbs, so it should be a quick injury to take care of, but he was still trying to get Rosepaw experience wherever he could.
